It is my immense pleasure to welcome you all to Sher-e-Bangla Hall, a homely environment with a desirable ambiance for academic, cultural, extracurricular, and personality development.

With the development pace of BUET in terms of academic and research environment, the Sher-e-Bangla Hall administration is dedicated to building international standard facilities at the hall premises. The Hall infrastructure is already affixed a dining hall, canteen, common room, multipurpose hall, Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity, playground, laundry, reading room, library, prayer room, and beautiful garden. Hall administration is always concerned with safe food and drinking water availability. Students’ safety is considered one of the hall’s utmost priorities. In addition to the university’s central security system, hall security persons are responsible for providing residents with a safe and secure environment. The hall premises is well equipped with a CCTV system for surveillance and an emergency alarm system on each floor.

There is a dynamic and continuous effort from the provost body and the trained staff to ensure a sound environment and necessary facilities and beyond.
